The court judgment explicitly states that Bitcoin demonstrates all the characteristic of a “property right”. There is an undisputed contract between the parties which leads to a legal relationship and therefore a civil obligation to pay. Since the obligations were taken in Bitcoin, the amount should also be paid back with the same currency.
