Janez Kravcar, Compliance Manager, Bitstamp Ltd.

Janez is the Compliance Manager overseeing the work of the core Compliance Team of Bitstamp. He joined the company in December 2019 and has been working in the fintech sector for the past 4 years as Head of Legal and later General Counsel. During the time in the fintech sector, which was entirely dedicated to cryptocurrencies related businesses, he has supported the notion to bring as much self-regulation to the sector while it was still in its nascent state and later offered help to the regulators EU-wide wanting to regulate this sector either directly or through various industry associations.
