Nikola Péliová, Chief Compliance Officer, Coinmerce

Nikola joined Coinmerce as Chief Compliance Officer in August, 2023. Having the educational background in Business and Management as well as European and International Law has enabled her to provide useful advice to the businesses she has worked for. She obtained her Masters of Laws from Utrecht University in Law & Economics and also holds the ACAMS certification. As a part of the studies, she wrote her Master Thesis on the topic of regulation of stablecoins in MiCAr. She has been an advocate for balanced regulation of crypto since she joined the industry in 2017. Prior to working at Coinmerce, she spent five and a half years working at another crypto company where she worked on all aspects of compliance function.
