ESMA publication of its Compliance Table regarding its Guidelines on the conditions and criteria for the qualification of crypto-assets as financial instruments, 29 October 2025

On the 29^th of October 2025, the European Securities and Markets Authority published its Compliance Table regarding its Guidelines on the conditions and criteria for the qualification of crypto-assets as financial instruments. The Compliance Table lists, where applicable, the competent authorities in the EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, and indicates whether or not these authorities comply or intend to comply with the ESMA Guidelines.
