On the 22nd of October 2026, once its website was restored following an alert by the EU institutions’ cybersecurity service (CERT-EU) to two critical security flaws in the software used to operate it, the European Banking Authority extended the deadlines of its public consultations on, among others, the methodology for setting fines under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (2023/1114/EU, MiCAR).
Interested stakeholders can submit their feedback by the 26th of October 2026.
