Anjela Kalenova, Head of Compliance and MLRO, Bitpace

Anjela Kalenova joined Bitpace in 2021 as Compliance Strategy and Advisory officer. Currently she is one of the managing directors and the Head of Compliance and MLRO for one Bitpace’s legal entities, being responsible for all kind of regulatory affairs along with daily compliance and advisory escalations. Coming from a legal background, her whole career was dedicated to legal and compliance roles within the financial sector. With almost a decade of experience with a number of EU regulatory bodies, she has worked for Paysafe and Moneygram, among others, and built Bitpace’s AML program from scratch.
