EBA publication of its Opinion on the amendments proposed by the European Commission to the EBA draft RTS on conflicts of interest for issuers of ARTs under MiCAR, 5 February 2025

On the 5^th of February 2025, the European Banking Authority published an Opinion in response to the amendments proposed by the European Commission (EC) to the EBA draft Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) on the requirements for policies and procedures on conflicts of interest for issuers of asset-referenced tokens (ARTs) under Regulation 2023/1114/EU (MiCAR). The EBA endorsed the substantive changes proposed by the EC, as well as other non-substantive amendments.
