On the 10th of December 2024, the European Securities and Markets Authority published a list for complaints-handling in EU Member States and EEA Countries under Art. 108 of Regulation 2023/1114/EU (MiCAR). Article 108 of MiCAR obliges national competent authorities to set up procedures that allow clients and other interested parties to submit complaints to them about alleged infringements of MiCAR by offerors, persons seeking admission to trading, issuers of asset-referenced tokens or e-money tokens, or crypto-asset service providers. Each competent authority must disclose information about the complaints-handling procedures on their website and communicate it to the European Banking Authority (EBA) and ESMA.
