The Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), along with Banque de France and the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR), has reissued a warning on risks associated with “speculative” crypto-assets in response to France’s tobacco federation – the Fédération des Buralistes -, recently obtaining permission to sell Bitcoin as of January 2019.
